Stones of Ehezed
About the Location: The Stones of Ebezed are colossal, ancient monoliths hidden deep in the northern wilds of Gooley Island. Covered in cryptic carvings and weathered symbols, they are believed to be remnants of a lost civilization and hold deep spiritual significance for many islanders. Though no roads lead there, pilgrims brave rough terrain to meditate, seek wisdom, or pay tribute to the sacred site. The ruins are also home to the Haiku—a peaceful, nomadic goblin tribe who guard the stones with quiet reverence. To disturb the site is to invite taboo, for the Haiku believe these stones connect them to their ancestors and the soul of the island itself.

Terrain Outline: This battle map uses two levels, with the raised platform forming the upper level. The pink teleportation circle is the player entry point, and the blue teleportation circle leads to the arena. The huts are enclosure tiles, the boulders are obstacle tiles, and the stairwell is composed of ladder tiles. The dark edge of the platform is climbing terrain. The four giant stone tiles are special terrain tiles: they always block line of sight, regardless of creature size. Creatures adjacent to or on a giant stone tile gain +2 ability power with all holy spell abilities.
Quest Briefing: Hidden among the monoliths of the Stones of Ebezed is a forbidden ritual known only to the Haiku and a few reckless wanderers. When performed, it awakens an ancient creature known as a *Wonky*—a humanoid donkey imbued with wild, unpredictable magic. No two Wonky are alike; each possesses a random number of bizarre abilities and spells that grow stronger with time. Should one be summoned, you must act quickly. If you slay the creature before its full ascension, you may claim its soul stone—a rare and mysterious artifact said to grant the bearer a fragment of the Wonky’s chaotic powers. But beware: many have tried, and many have vanished amid laughter and lightning.
